Be sure that you fill to at least the minimum line - Then put the 2 pieces of the mold together, and SLOWLY lower into the container. Put into the freezer on a level / flat surface / shelf - usually leave in there for 48 hours, even though the state it freezes in 24 - as I want to be sure my cocktails have a solid ball of ice! The mold squeezes out of the container about 3/4 of an inch - My friends are amazed at how big and almost perfectly clear they turn out - I can usually get 2 Old Fashioned per ball. Highly recomended.
Easy to use and give consistent results. That's much more than I can say for my last clear ice sphere mold.
